Check our version of the Big 3!
Hi Everyone!
We have put together a Big 3 kit for you that is easy to install!
With all of the high-tech electronics that have been incorporated into your C5 Corvette, not to mention additional after market electronics and stereo systems, it can take a toll on the factory charging systems ability to keep up. Especially if, over time, connections have become corroded.
Installing a BIG 3 upgrade can be very beneficial as many on the Corvette forum will tell you. SacCityCorvette has developed a BIG 3 installation kit for the C5 Corvette. It is made from all high quality materials and designed so it will not look like an aftermarket universal kit.
For safety it has a 100 amp heavy duty fuse, uses automotive grade 4 gauge wire, (not the type most car stereo shops use), the positive wire has a mesh sleeve over it for additional protection, all connections are hydraulically crimped and come with all the hardware needed to do the install.
The installation takes about thirty minutes with simple hand tools. If you have doubt that this BIG 3 kit will make any difference in your charging system, please check out our test video below and see how the voltage increases when we connect it!
If you have an issue with your lights dimming when you turn on other power accessories, several people have reported that our Big 3 has fixed that.

This is the new updated Big3!

Hi naschmitz,
Normal charging voltage is around 13.8-14.4 with no lights or accessories on. 12.8 is low. The video is just showing that the Big 3 does make a difference, especially when you start turning on your accessories and putting a load on the charging system.

Our Vette just seemed like it ran better with the Big 3 installed.
Could be in our heads or could be the that the extra voltage
really helped. Just saying!

These Big 3 upgrades do make a difference. Just ask the owners that put them on their Vettes.

Did you know: The name "Corvette" was borrowed from a line of small, fast navy ships used in World War II.

The first generation Corvette was introduced late in the 1953 model year. Originally designed as a show car for the 1953 Motorama display at the New York Auto Show, it generated enough interest to induce GM to make a production version to sell to the public. First production was on June 30, 1953.

Big 3 wire kit
Great product and worth the money.
Finally installed the kit 2 months ago. The headlights don't go dim anymore and the battery is holding the charge. If I'd done this sooner, it might have saved the cost of a new battery.
