Open Car Hauler - set up for my Vette
Trailer is SOLD. Thanks.
This is a 2010 Kaufman 19ft open car hauler. This is the deluxe version with radial tires, add-on spare tire, 4 wheel electric brakes, dual 4,000 lb axles, removable driver side fender, the extended length ramps so you can load very low vehicles. It has an added locking tool box and a professionally built locking tire/wheel rack. I used this trailer to haul my Z06 to track days. It is in great condition and was already set-up for a Corvette. Very heavy duty with solid diamond plate decking. All wiring and lights work, tires are in great shape, brakes recently checked and axles lubed. This is a great trailer in excellent condition that is ready to go. looks nearly brand new but for much less money. I am only selling because I upgraded to an enclosed car hauler. Corvette Forum price is $2,200, Title in hand.
Trailer is in Clayton, NC (near Raleigh, NC)
Not sure why I can't get the pics to upload right now, so I have attached the link to my Craigslist ad: http://raleigh.craigslist.org/for/4871887460.html

We just keep getting rain here in NC. I do have plenty of space and if you bought it, I could store it here in my back lot if you are interested and would like to get it in the spring.

Mine is a C5 Z06. It does not have the removable fenders. I have mine lowered as far as possible and the door just clears the fender so I can get out. Not sure what the clearance would be like on a C6. I have seen folks screw 1x8 pads to the deck to get some extra height.
The height from the deck to the top of the fender is 8 7/16" if that helps.
UPDATE - I guess I need to pay more attention - Yes, I just looked closer and realized it does have the removable driver side fender. Two bolts and the fender pulls right off. I never needed it so I didn't pay attention.

Burning Brakes
May be interested
Weight of trailer?
Height of deck above roadway?
Length and width of ramps?
Torsion axles or leaf springs?
Miles on brakes?
Thanks.
Sorry - didn't see Cyclones post. I'll take second place in line.

Wow, this looks pretty perfect for me. And close enough to VIR that I could probably pick it up in March.
I would also be interested in the overall length of the trailer including tongue, I did not find that information on the Kaufman website.
Please consider me 3rd in line.
