Default RPM Stage 5 transmission

RPM stage 5 transmission with custom road race 5th and 6th gear ratios
(2.66/1.78/1.30/1.0/.85/.76) – approx. 35 hrs -

The 5th and 6th gears were made by G-Force for RPM and installed by RPM.
(approx. $800 extra)

This was a spare transmission for my race car which I sold.. I was going to save this for a project but I will probably never get to it.

$2275 plus shipping within Continental US

Also have much more race car stuff I will be selling shortly as I am not planning to go back to C5/C6 platform.

How'd you like having your 4th-5th-6th gears so close together?

Seems like you wouldn't have much opportunity to get going that fast in road racing. What rear gear ratio did you have?

On front straight at UMC (Utah Motorsports Campus - formerly MMP) - which is 3500 ft. you need 5th gear. Having ratios that close is an advantage in that you stay in power band. Rear end ratio was 3.73
Also using a 3.73 keeps car in power band a little more efficiently when using 3rd and 4th on other turns on this course.

Went ahead and plotted the ratios in my calculator to get a better idea of how they work. Note that this is an approximate estimate using an otherwise stock Z06 and the redline for each gear is 7k rpm.

There's a lot of overlap between 3-4-5-6, which is exactly what you want.

If I were in the market for a transmission right now this would be a pretty good deal. Thanks for the info!

If you don't mind me asking, why are you moving away from the C5/C6 platform? And which direction are you headed next?
