Default Sold- Simpson Carbon road race helmet

Sold the race car. Now I should probably try to sell some of this safety stuff. This is a Simpson SA 2010 carbon fiber helmet. I'm not sure what model it is, can't find the model name on it or on the stickers inside. I bought it for my son to wear during the 2012 One Lap of America. He only used it for a handful of track days leading up to the One Lap, and then during the One Lap. It's a size L. I wear an XL and I tried on this helmet and it would work. Not quite big enough for my liking though. My son isn't as smart as me that's why his head is smaller. The clear lens was never put on. The tinted lens shows no wear or scratches. There are no marks on the shell. He never crashed (went off track a few times but never hit anything). We took very good care of it, always putting inside the two bags. I think it was about $1000 new. The least expensive carbon helmet I can find on Simpson's page is the Devil Ray for $880. I believe a SA 2010 is good until 2020? So, how does $250 sound, plus shipping. I'm working on uploading the pictures so I'll post those as soon as possible. I'm in St. Paul, MN, so try on and pick up are great if you're close.

Sorry guys, I got too busy. And then my phone wasn't uploading the pics like I thought it should. I think they're uploading now so I should have them soon. I have a Necksgen also for sale. It's all set up on this helmet. That was purchased by my son so he'll have to set a price for that. I'll try to get him into this thread.

Of course those Necksgen fittings will come off if the buyer doesn't buy the NecksGen. I think I'll start a different thread for the NecksGen just to keep it all straight.

Helmet looked great. Upload the pictures from your computer directly to the forum. They don't need to be hosted anywhere or shared.

Right above the place you are writing your text to reply to a post there are a bunch of icons. A big "B" for Bold, an "I" for italic and so on.
A little farther to the right is this icon:

Click that icon. Then click the big green button in the middle that says "Browse Your Device". Locate the picture you want to upload in the window that opens, select the picture then select "open". This will upload it to the website. Then on the top right click "Insert" and it will add the tag and picture to the text. You can upload multiple pictures this way.

I really appreciate all the interest. I did get a phone call earlier today from a friend that saw the ad and is interested. He's local. So I'm giving him first dibs. I'll post when he tries it on and buys or passes.

That would work great if I had the pictures on my computer. But I don't. I took them with my phone. And my phone automatically uploads them to my google account. So since the pictures are in the cloud there it should be easy for me to share. Which is how I tried to do it. And they show up just fine to me in the above posts. But apparently there is some sort of privacy setting in my google account that I need to set to public. I'd rather figure that out than download all the pictures to my computer and then upload them to Corvetteforum. Especially since I have a bunch of pictures of the NecksGen and a fire suit to try to sell too.

So, apparently Google+ has made changes since the switched over from Picasa and it's no longer possible to share the photos the way I used to. Great. When/if I post the NecksGen and the firesuit I'll have to download and upload the pics then. Thanks for all the help.

Sorry for not getting back to this thread sooner. Helmet is sold to the local friend. He also bought the NecksGen. Now if only I could figure out how to edit the title of the thread to show "sold" instead of "for sale." Anybody know how to do that?
