New Project:87 Oldsmobile Aerotech Shorttail
Possible new project rebuilding the only 87 short Tail, 2 of the 3 long tails still exist and are listed as the 3rd fastest piston engined cars in history at 278 mph, short tail 7th on the list at 257 mph.

The original builder lives locally here and has the original engine and 90% of the original body/chassis, first plan is to rebuild it then show/promote it. It would be nice to take a little run at Bonneville. It always amazes me that so many of these cars are laying somewhere in a warehouse waiting for someone with the passion, interest, and money to do something with them. Its estimated it will take $280,000 to rebuild and show for 2 years, with a hope of an upside on sale. I'll post a photo shortly.

Why do my photo inserts never work? A bit frustrating, its not size(at least thats what my wife says...LOL)
