Default Trailer Hitch advice

I've got too far to drive to the auto-x events that I attend. So I'm going to have to go with a small trailer. I checked 3 trailer dealers locally and none even show a hitch for C5's or any Corvette for that matter. I've found them online but would like to know what those who have them are using and how you like them and ease of installation.

I got the Drawtite hitch. Just gotta drop the mufflers to install. Easy.
Think before cutting when doing the wiring.

I used a DALAN located in Mass. hitch on both my 2001 and Z06. Do a Google search on them to get the phone number & to find a local dealer. The unit fit nicely up under the fascia and only the receiver showed between the exhaust tips. Painted black you almost could not see it. Installation took about 2 hours and did not require removal of the mufflers, you have to drop the back brackets but thats all. Cost was about $150.00 shipped several years ago.

Do a search on the threads... Lots of pictures and lots of advice on this topic. I personally lost a bolt into the frame and had to retrieve it in slow painful fashion, so like everyone has said, read all the posts first.

I got mine from Tractor Supply. I really like the way it pulls and there is plenty of room for tires, toolbox, and cooler, canopy etc.

Draw Tite hitch, here. Can't even see it when there's no draw bar in the receiver and it's a breeze to install

I built my tire trailer with the little HF trailer w/12" wheels. I like the very light trailer and tongue weight in the Z06 application. So far, it has worked great...about 2000 miles or so of use.

my Ghetto rig. The trailer is european spec slightly modified to work with an american spec lights and hitch. Utility trailers like that are easy to find in Germany, but not worth the trip over here or shipping back to the states.

Finally remembered to take a picture last weekend at MidOhio. Those are four 315s., which fit if your stack them like that. Tractor Supply trailer. The stuff in front of the trailer fits in my trunk.
