I'd like the input from fellow track nuts who see high rpms often.

The pcv system is just that-- Positive crankcase ventilation. What causes excess oil in the top end? Many things.... excessive ring blow-by (compression/leak down tests req'd), wrong restriction in block to head oil galleys (verry uncommon), over filling the crankcase (aka oil pan-- verrrry common)

Is the upper end pcv unaltered? More info req'd....

No upper end PCV is factory LS6... It's probably from the 1 quart overfill when I run HPDEs.

No way to keep the oil out short of a full PCV delete. If it is just a light mist, then no real problem. If you have puddles, then its an issue.

^ It's just a thin coating, nothing crazy. Just now that I have it appart wondering what I can do to make it better.

I'll just get a nice catch can for the valley cover PCV line.
