According to the Apex website, it will not be a factory/factory sponsored effort; I guess similar to the Calloway C6Z06R's running in GT3

True, but I felt the thread title would be understood better than "Apex Motorsport to enter FIA GT3 in 2007."

I have read a few rumors from a year or two ago that Jaguar would be selling a GT3 type road car. So basically a lightweight more focused XKR like Porsche does with some of their road cars.

I've heard that. They should take out the rear seats and other stuff and give it a manual transmission.
