Default Support needed for the salisbury NC Track

My apologies if you receive this request from another source, but
this issue is important to ALL TRACK JUNKIES! Please write that
letter RIGHT NOW!!! What you write is not as important as the fact
that you voice your support of the new track.

Please send this to everyone you know who would be interested in
having another track at which to enjoy our hobby. If you want to
see the track map and a simulated drive of the track, go to
www.TrackSchedule.com and select "News!" from the navigation bar.

Safe Driving Everyone,
Coco

Letter Request from Dan Kent
----------------------------------------------------------
Friends and neighbors, I come to you today with the hopes of
generating a letter writing campaign.

As many of you are aware, there is a new 2.65 mile road course in
the works in Northern Rowan County, North Carolina. ( Salisbury )
I met with the head of this project on Wednesday and can assure you
the track is going forward.

There is one mosquito buzzing around causing some irritation.
There is a small Historical group that is trying to put a halt to
the track. And this "group" does not have all it's facts straight.

My plea is for any and all interested parties to reply with a quick
note to the editor of the Salisbury Post newspaper. Even though you
may not be a resident, a flood of "out of towners" supporting the
track will show how much of an economic impact it will have for
the County.

I am a history buff myself. And if the land in question had not
already had Highways, Rail Roads, Pipelines and a Textile Mill
already built, I may have a different opinion. My point is, there
is very little "untouched" land to preserve.

Below is a link to the latest article published in the news paper.
The second link is the Letter to the Editor submission form.

Thank you for supporting the growth of our sport.

And Please!!!... forward this to any interested parties you may know.
Motorcycle enthusiast also.
Dan Kent

I've been hearing for months that the track is dead!

We already have a ton of road coarses in the area (VIR, CMP, Roebling, Rd Atlanta, Rockingham, Charlotte), but I'd love to have another 1/2hr away.

Dave
