Default Front tire fitment for C6Z

Looking for an ASP setup & I understand they're limited in front because of the cooling ducts.
I wanted to go w/ a 305/335 setup, but it may only take 285s in front.

Anyone out there have experience w/ this yet?

My buddy and CF'er greendot runs 295/30 A6's on the front of his C6Z on stock wheels.

C5Z's could take a 305 on a stock 10.5 rear wheel on the front, I think you could make a 305 work; maybe with a thin spacer if necessary.

You need a spacer to make a C5Z rear wheel clear the front brake ducts on a C6Z. Of course in ASP you could just remove the ducts!!

He runs CCW wheels. What size (11" IIRC) and backspace or offset??

Really? Purner warns that anything over a 295 will interfere w/ the ducts.
I adjusted my ride height down and I'd rather not mess w/ them.

I'll take your word for it Danny...

Thx guys

You may want to call John @ CCW and ask him. I just spoke with him yesterday and he said the clearance was critical due to the ducts but he recommended 11" front wheels and 13" rears with Goodyear racing slicks. We were stricly talking road course track events though.

He said tire diameter was a big factor with certain tires having too low of side wall for the front and creating a stiffer spring rate.

I decided to dump my Kuhmo 710's with 18's on all corners and go with stock size 18/19 Hoosier R6's.

That's exactly the setup I am running with no complaints whatsoever. 295 fronts, 325 rears.
