During the winter, the Luc Alphand Aventures had decided to go up of a category higher while passing of the GT2 than the GT1. This evolution was profitable since the TEAM took down superb a third place at the time of the 24 Hours of Mans. In parallel, the team concludes the countryside Mans Series since with a test of the term, it occupies the head of the classification. Consequently, the Luc Alphand Aventures decided to increase his investment in GT1 in 2007 with the acquisition of a second car, the victorious C6.R of the class' at the time of the 24 Hours of Mans 2006. Philippe Poincloux, the TEAM manager of the structure, confirmed this information on the official site.

While choosing to pass from the GT2 to the GT1 in 2006 with the victorious C5R to the 24 H of Mans 2004, we nourissions already the project to roll with a recent evolution of the Corvette, the C6R. To change category being already a large challenge for all the team, we had chosen to carefully make a transition. The excellent results of the TEAM as of the first year accelerate the things today, since our friend and partner the Baron Benjamin de Rothschild, collector and large expert of vehicles of competition, decided to help Luc Alphand again while taking part in the acquisition of the last 24 Hours victorious GT1 of Mans.

I am pleased thus to announce today that the TEAM LUC ALPHAND ADVENTURES will make roll 2 cars in 2007: on the one hand the C5R with which Luc Alphand, Jérome Policand and Patrice Goueslard signed excellent results in 2006 and the lately acquired C6R.
