Default New pads, old rotors

I think that bedding the brakes involves mating some of the pad material to the rotors and also curing the pad material. I have cracked rear rotors and will replace them but wondering if the rotors need any bedding before a track day?

Yes the rotors will benifit from being heat cycled and left to cool
