Default FS: 28' Enclosed Pace V-Nose trailer

I'm selling my 28' V-nose Pace after the runoffs if anyone is interested. It's dirty and unorganized (due to packing for the upcoming race), but it's a great trailer and specifically made for a vette! $5K firm!

- 2000 model with newly upgraded 6000 lb axles/hubs and new brakes
- tons of storage cabinets, racks and a work bench
- 7' tall inside height
- two tire racks w/two spare tires and wheels
- in-floor storage area (where I put my old rotors and brakes)
- 3d door for easy entry
- DC wired, 6 lights with new battery
- Large Canopy that attaches to the side of the trailer
- bogey wheels (no rear scrapes)
- Under trailer storage for the canopy poles so they are not in your way
- Designed for a Vette - just drive in, open your car and get out
- it has a winch, but I'm putting that in my new trailer...unless you want to buy it

Let me know:

OK, let me know. I'm in no huge rush, but after the runoffs, I'm going to start unloading it, so it'll be ready for some lucky racer. You don't need to do anything to it, but pull your car in, open the door, get out and strap it down. It also has spare running/turn lights, a spare (new) hub and many other nice to have things. The battery is also new.

"- Large Canopy that attaches to the side of the trailer"

Where is that canopy from? I like it.
Thanks,
Ed

Holiday Canopies is where I got the Canopy, ties, and the main assembly parts...but I had to buy the poles. The whole package is about $500 if you're starting from scratch.

You don't need load levelers or sway bars when you use a dually. It doesn't go anywhere!!!!! This is a very aerodynamic trailer (hence the V-nose), and really tows well - very stable.

I had a 24' flat faced trailer before and it towed horribly compared to this one.

I don't have a dually though--same 2500hd duramax as april if you remember. too much for my truck you think? what's the gross loaded weight, if you know? does your trailer have a/c?

I tow a 28' pace with the flat front with my 3/4 ford. I know the trailer is back there when towing, but the truck tows it fine. I do have the sway control and load leveling set-up though. I wouldn't tow without it in my truck.

This is an absolute steal of a deal, and I only wish Chris was selling this back in Mid-May when I bought my trailer... Man, SMOKING deal... Any 2500HD or bigger truck should be fine towing this trailer...

Your 2500 will have no trouble at all towing this thing. You can technically tow more weight than my dually because your truck is lighter!

The trailer weighs less than 5K, the car was about 3K and tools, tires, spares, etc was about 1-2K so you're looking at about 9-10K for the trailer fully loaded. No A/C.

I have a 2500 avy (8.1ltr engine). It tow's a 24foot haulmark with more interior weight than your's (from looks). Mine tow's just fine and I use a distribution hitch! I wouldn't tow without a distribution hitch regardless of dually or not.

Considering, wind and occasional high speeds 75, I prefer the saftey afforded by the distribution hitcher.

Oh wait, and there is also that little rule about weight and distribution hitches and the law - LOL!

Sell this yet? Hopefully a deal like this is around when I'm ready for an enclosed trailer. I suspect I'll be looking at an open with my '01 Tahoe 4x4.

My Dooley doesn't need distribution hitch the feeling is just about the same. BUT it does need it to be legal when you have over 5,000 lb. in any case so I use it.
