Default What are the restrictions on the C6-r for this race?

As the title says...how much weight, and how small of a restrictor place are the Corvettes running for this race?

Some guy on the ALMS forum was claiming the AMs were faster than the Corvettes when they run on the same tire (ie. at Le Mans) ... but I thought the Corvettes were still heavily restricted over there?

Speed WC = Corvettes restricted to make winning very difficult
ALMS = Corvettes restricted to make it a "fair fight" for the AMs
Grand Am = Corvettes hurt badly by the rules from the start

So, basically, no pro series in North America for these cars to go play without the rulesmakers destroying things.

NASAs new Grand Production Classes ( or at least ) for a few guys. May not be the BIG leages but minimal restrictions in the Group 3 unlimited class.

There were four DBR9s at Le Mans this year:

one from BMS Scuderia Italia (sp)

one from Russian Age Racing

two from Aston Martin Racing (NOT a factory team or even a factory-supported team)

The two DBR9s from Aston Martin Racing had added weight because they qualified too close (or under?) 3:50 in 2005. The C6.Rs had added weight because they were also too close or under 3:50 in 2005. All four cars had Michelins at Le Mans this year.
