Thanks. You have months for me now... I'm splinted and slung from shoulder+elbow surgery yesterday. :-(

Have fun at NHIS!

They replace the standard C6 duct and go all the way to the duct opening under the front end.

Ordered a set from Fichtner. Can't go wrong at that price.

Just got my ducts from Fred Beans. It looks like they've got enough lip to put a hose on, but I think I'll put a screw through the hose to help hold it with the clamp.

Very funny, read it again. I think you will find it is HDPE which means: High Density Polyethylene for recycling purposes.

I have them for my C5 but haven't installed yet. It looks like I'll have to cut them or go in behind the fender well and cut the original duct.

It's going to take some time to figure out the best setup. Still, for $6 you can afford to screw up a few.

I'm happy w/ my DRM ducts, but dang... if you can make them work $11 is a lot better than $200.

I did the DRM ducts on my '02 Z06. I agree on price, but it was the hacking of my fender well that really pissed me off (too ****, I know).

If I understand these posts, these things look like they attach to a common part on the existing duct and pass through the fender well using the existing hole. If true, that's the real beauty.

Default Fred Beans

Ordered a set of Z06 brake ducts from Fred Beans for my '05 Z51. UPS said they delivered, but no package at my door. I called UPS and they said to call primary sender, Fred Beans, to coordinate investigation of package. I've tried many many times to call Fred Beans, always get a message, I've left multiple messages to call me back about my shipment, but they haven't called. I emailed my problem to them, along with UPS tracking number and all info, and haven't been replied to. Anybody else have a problem with this? My hands are up in the air-- I've tried calling and emailing multiple times, and can't get through, and they won't reply. Weird.

Gene @ Fred Beans has been awesome for me. Prompt and courtesy and even saved my butt when I only ordered half the parts I would have needed...

Hate to say but I think Gene is gone. Check the end of this thread, it seems they are still in business and Jeremy took over (he was always helpful to me too).

Crying shame - it was always a pleasure to do business with Gene, his service was second to none. He told me he actually designed their website in his spare time!

Default frt brake ducts do not fil

I purchased C6 Zo6 frt brake ducts, #15829066 and 15829067.
They don't seem anywhere close to fitting;seem too long but frt opening appears to fit.
Does anyone have any ideas how to make these fit or other options to get cooling to frt rotors on C6 Z51? thanks!

You will have to remove the existing duct and replace it with the new one. The fender liner will have to be pulled back and trimmed for clearance.

Mike
