You are going to have a great time.
Are you going back for Corvette Days in a month?

There are several things that can help with the motion sickness when riding as a passenger. 1) Eat small meals the day of the event - no greasy or spicy foods 2) Keep hydrated - drink lots of water - no caffentated sodas or coffee 3) If you wear bi-focal glasses remove them prior to the session - bouncing vision between lenses causes problems 4) Focus far ahead of where you are in the car - as you should be doing anyway -- like the horizon line when on a boat in the ocean. 5) The night before - keep alcohol to a minmum - hung over track days are a waste of your money - especially with the cost of Spring Mountain. 6) Have fun and Be Safe

Never say never. Thought I was capable of riding with anyone after John W. of Speedventures gave me a ride at Sears Point in his T-1 Vette. Then I got up to speed in the F-Mazda's at Russell and in one parking lot exercise around poles it hit me one day. Still can't do that exercise, tried again. It just has to be the wrong combination and it doesn't feel good.
Enjoy the class, SM is great and the instructors are the best. You'll learn a lot and have more fun on track with your own car. Then again you won't believe how much more you would pick up if you get to level II. Enjoy!

I had no problem whatsoever as a passenger with Lou Gigliotti at Road America. That was great!

Hey! I can make myself car sick if I pound down a bunch of those Speed Venture lunchtime pizza slices or the gourmet Buttonwillow burger, fries and a couple of large drinks if it is immediately before my driving session. I don't throw up, but I just don't feel quite right for about 30 minutes.

My goal every time out is to be as smooth as possible, and every time I take the Wife out as a passenger she falls asleep. THAT'S when I know I'm smooth!
As far as getting sick, I found that if I use my helmet-to-helmet communicator with just one speaker in the ear, I'll get a little sick pretty quick. I either have to use both ear speakers or none at all.
