C6 Z06 Sway Bars on a C5?
Would this be an upgrade? I was thinking about going with T1's but I was told they weren't very street friends and very noisy.

Not sure about the Z bars, but T1s are not a standalone mod, must upgrade shocks too or they will not work well, espically on street. If you do they are just fine. End links are what is noisy, use regular links if this is an issue.

Check the archives here and on the Z06 forum for considerable material about this topic. "Street friendly" is a matter of taste, but the T1 setup with endlinks does make clunking sounds. No problem with running the T1 sways with stock Z06 shocks. The T1 sway addition is a mod that seems not to upset the suspension tuning.

After much research and with budget in mind, I choose the Addeco bars which are not as stiff as the T1, but significanty stiffer than the Z06. They seem to be the perfect in between and only cost me around $450 a set vs, $750 for the T1 bars (if you can find them).

Eckler's sells them cheap. Here is the comparison I wrote up a week ago.

Matt GM now has the C5 T1 bars. The T1 kit is $643.00 from GM Parts Direct (Fredbeans is probably cheaper) It includes
GM PART # PKT1STABKIT
DESCRIPTION: T1 SWAY BAR KIT FOR ALL C5'S 1997-2004
This kit is the T1 sway bar kit for all 1997-2004 c5 corvettes. This kit includes the following:
1 Front T1 sway bar
1 Rear T1 sway bar
2 pairs of T1 metal end-links
1 pair of front T1 sway bar insulators
1 pair of rear T1 sway bar insulators.
BTW the Z06 ones from are $225 but I think Fredbeans sells them cheaper
