I'll be there...if I can get my new sway bars on in time. I got both off and the rears on, but had trouble with the fronts. I am going to try again this Saturday....

Last time I was at an open track day, I ran out of gas. I started with a full tank and brought 5 extra gallons. It still wasn't enought (and that was the North course)

So leason learned, bring lots of extra gas...especially on WOT double infield.

I just hope the weather holds out...Pocono Mts in late October is VERY iffy...forecast is looking very cool with a high of only 50F

That means 35F morning and a super slick track...pray for a freak warm front

I figure at WGI I use 1 tank per day so I am going to use more than that here.

I will probably have to go out and get gas during lunch, but maybe I will just pick up a 10 gal jug. I have 94 Ultra next to my house and will be using Torco as a mix.

Why do you have to use Torco? You have the same power as me +-1 Got diesel compression in that thing

Hey ! Weasel , Why new clutch ?

Greg

when the clutch got hot it would not work right. Actually I could not shift at all at high RPMs when it was hot. I also noticed some notchy shifts with it around town. It also happened when Doug was in the car at WGI and it was decided that it was the clutch. I liked the RPS clutch, but the new clutch on the block is the textralia so I decided ( ECS decided - they are good for spending my money) to go with that and an aluminum flywheel.

Well it is that or running race gas. Since Pocono never has race gas then I am going with the Torco accelerator. I am not sure if it is 100% needed, but it seems that engine failure happens with crappy detonation so higher octane should help with that. I also dont see any harm of running higher octane at the track.
