Default Spring Mountain Corvette Days - Why no chatter on...

Who is going to Corvette Days on November 3 and 4?

And why is there no chatter on car prep, lap times, parts availabilty, timing systems and all the usual banter?

Well, I guess this thread is getting kicked of by me....

Me I'll be looking forward to beating up on some good o'l boys from AZ(the noise from the Ripper should at least blow them off the track if they even get that close!) ...there, that should start the ball roll'n!

Oli & Ed, enjoy the weekend, wish SM was a little closer to home but
I'll just have to settle for Laguna Seca that weekend and since most
won't be Corvettes I might even get to pass someone.

We'll be there. We are sponsoring the event and are planning on having a couple of cars down there. We'll also be giving away a set of sway bars at the dinner on Saturday night.

Hopefully we can talk the guys from Optima Battery into swinging over after SEMA with their two new Z06s.

Hope to see a bunch of you down there.

I am interested in your adjustable rear sway bar. I have the GM T1 bars now, and on some tracks I wish I could dial in a little adjustment one way or the other....

Default Extra! Extra! This News Bulletin Just in...

Here is my new car I will be debuting at Spring Mountain.

I have also been spy monitoring Fast Ed's car at Orange County Corvette. I am still developing the spy photos, but I can tell you the car has been fitted with a Hardbar Carbon Fiber Wing on the rear and a 4" splitter on the front. I have also spied some ultra cool oil cooler works on the rear of the car, but I won't disclose that for fear of my life. More news on his car as it develops....

Oli, going to be odd not seeing you in Blue ...

The weather crystal ball shows you guys getting low to mid 70's with
clouds on Sat. while our small Corvette contingent at L. Seca will be
seeing low to mid 60's with maybe some damp track. Well to get on
the corkscrew guess we'll have to give up some things. Enjoy the
weekend as well.

Hey Randy, I will miss seeing you out at the track but it is good knowing you are up north and west having some fun, too.

As far as yellow and blue go, I am considering repainting the car....

If any of you want to see the track as run at the last Corvette Days, here is some in car video starting from turn one.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...06485760479731

Here is another in-car video of the slightly different 3.5 mile configuration, as opposed to the 3.1 version we are supposedly running. This video has some on screen data acquisition to give you a feel for speed, braking points, etc.

You had to show the one video when my engine let go! Thanx Oli...

Yes I will miss her but she will be resurected into and reborn into a monster machine that consumes all MCLARENS, ENZO"S , MOSLERS, PORCHE GT2'S AND 959'S AND FOR THE APPETISER AND FEW COMP COUPES...MUHWAHAHAHA!

There, that ought to start the ball roll'n!
