***ECS Brake Duct Cooling Kit***
From the tech section.
It looks like a nice setup using DRM ducts and their own, ECS, spindle kit ...
$368 -> http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1532289

I was surprised by how much of a difference the brake cooling setup makes. My brakes at WGI never felt better. All day long it was the same feeling and a small plus - no cracked rotors unlike last time where we had 3 crack rotors.

Doug,
What size hose is required? I would prefer to use your spindle kit with the C6Z06 ducts, thus saving nearly $200. The Z06 ducts are 2.5", but I imagine I could make a 3" hose fit if need be.
Thanks,
Mike

The DRM duct and our spindle piece is 3", but I'm sure you could crimp it down to 2.5". Just pull some of the wire out of the hose.

3.5 inches is what we sell with our kits. Back when we did all of our testing, before releasing our brake ducts. 2.5 inches was too small for track use.
3.5 necked down to a 3 inch spindle duct will work just fine because it's packing air into the center of the rotor.
