Default Negative toe number= toe OUT, Positive= toe IN?

I mean the numbers you get from an alignment machine print out...

I'm pretty sure I have it right, but need to verify please...

Several emails with Michael on this topic today. I had originally gotten some of the relationships backwards. Hopefully the comments are correct now. If anyone else cares to review, it's here:

Thanks

Are you sure you want toe-out in the rear (moderate/aggressive non-OEM values in the table), as well as the amount of toe-in for the front?

Will these numbers work for an 03 Z06?

I'm running the moderate values on my car now. Most of my miles are street, so balanced that way. The toe amounts are very small. If memory serves, the alignment & C5 Z06 pads were all I had done on my second trip to MSR (in this car) and I took 2 seconds off my lap time. Car is handling well on the street, too.

Can't speak for aggressive, collection of what I've read here with some feedback from David Farmer.

I used this chart for my '02 Z06, again running the moderate column. Alignment is also meant to favor a street car. Had very good tire wear in 11K miles, before I traded it.

Sorry to keep pestering. In my experience, the more aggressive the alignment, the more toe OUT (-) in the front and the more Toe IN (+) in the rear. From what I see, the notation at the bottom is now correct, but the actual values for toe only have the correct number but the reverse or incorrect sign (pluses should be minuses and minuses should be pluses).

Am I right or have I gone looking at this too long?

Not taken as pestering, all good discussion. I want to make sure the comments are accurate. As for the values, I have experience with the Moderate column, since the days of my '02 Z06. Can't speak for Aggressive settings, will need input from the hard core racers here.

I found good information in these articles.

I doubt that you want to run toe out in the rear in either autocross or lapping days in a C5 or C6. What Z06-Nomad says is what I was questioning in my previous post.
