Cobalt Spec VR's (FR &RR) on OE calipers/rotors. Got 10 days out of them running 4-5 seconds off T1 pace (8 days on front rotors). They are not very well know in the Corvette community but big wtih Honda and BMW track/race guys.

Raybestos ST41 front, ST43 rear on the Corvette, stock '95 J55 brakes with Napa rotors.

I run PFC 01 front/Porterfield R4 rear on my '69 Firebird. Wilwood Superlite II (older version) in the front and Dynalites in the rear.

What am I running now, or what have I run?
Stock 96 C.E. calipers
PFC 01 F 97 R not bad pads but wasn't crazy about the price.
Wilwood A's F & R Hard on Rotors (made my rotors look like records)
Hawk DTC-70 F DTC-60 R best pads I've tried and what I'm currently running.

I wish that Wilwood would make the H compound for the C4, I have a lot of buddies that run them and love them.

The only pads that I haven't tried that I would like to are the CarboTechs.

with 96 GS calipers on the front and 86 rears. We currently have Hawk DTC-70's front and back. These are the best stopping pads I have ever used on anything! After the pm test and tune at Gingerman it seems that they have worn a tremdous amount. They are awesome but I was told that the fronts brakes were glowing red for some time. The hawk HT-10's seem to have great stopping power and we ran them for all of the tracks we went to and the rotors only wore 0.018'' with the 10's. They seem to be agressive but they dont wear like the 70's. We will revert back to the 10's for that reason. Additionally I have had no problem with fade with either pad even with making them glow. Not that this really matters but the 70's cover the car with dust where the 10's dont seem to quite as bad.IMO the 70's=Better performance but the 10's= Great performance+better longevity. We have a two driver car so if any of this sounds excessive it's because the car gets beat twice as bad on any given day.

They are superb. That's what I run. XP12s front/XP10s rear...on OEM calipers. The Hawk DTCs are very good too, but they xfer a lot of heat into the fluid. The PFC 01s are just good, but don't hold up (fade) to full race distance.

I run xp10 front, xp8 rear (carbotech) and stock calipers. I find them quite adequate for what I'm doing (HPDE driving). I have limited experience though, having just worked up from panther+ and various stock pads.

C4 with C5 calipers & rotors on the front. PFC Z compound and stock ZO6 compound both faded. Using Willwood H and love them. Will probably try Carbotech 10's in the neverending search for something better. Rear is stock C4 with Carbotech 8's as Willwood does not make a C4 pad.

Stock calipers with SS pistons, PFC 01 pads all around and Napa (cheap) rotors. The PFC 01s are about as effective a pad as you'll find. If you're going to run them, you'll need lots of air to the rotors. Hard to beat the DRM ducts. I just put ECS spindle ducts on before a two day event at VIR and the rotors seemed to hold up better. Hardly any spider cracks after 2 days.

First ran Hawk HP+ up front on Napa rotors with Hawk HPS in the rear. Worked ok. Now am trying Carbotech XP10's up front still with the inexpensive Napa rotors and same Hawk HPS in rear. Felt like I got a little more fade than before but not sure after only one track day. Need more time to feel it out.

Since ours are street driven daily, drag raced, autoxed and road raced..........good old Z06 pads from the General have proven very reliable with OEM/NAPA rotors and OEM calipers

I spoke with a local SS Z06 driver who after compiling data found that the OEM Z06 pad proved just about as effective as anything else he had seen. He also trophied at nationals this year with them. Sounds like the stock ones work very well in auto-x applications.

Me too, C4 with Brembo F40 calipers front stock rear.

I loved the PFC 83's but they stopped making them for my caliper.

Wildwood H's on stock calipers.

I'll be switching to Wildwood fronts too this spring. Tired of the pad taper and inconsistency in the pedal.
