Stoptech Stage 2 upgrade.
Hey,
If you guys go on the stoptech site I see there is a stage 2 upgrade for stock c5 zo6 calipers. Im in due of brakes and I was going with new rotors all around and pads. This stage 2 upgrade looks nice with either drilled or slotted stoptech rotors, stainless steel lines, 3 bottles of motul brake fluid and HPS pads. Has anyone done this upgrade, how is it?
Just looking for opinions for someone who wants to upgrade yet not a BBK. I was leaning towards slotted because It seems drilled rotors crack. Car is a street car driven hard and has plans to see road coarse once or twice a year. Maybe step up to the HP+ pads?
OR
Just go with plain napa rotors, ss brake lines, motul fluid and good pads? The stoptech rotors worth the extra cost?
Thanks
Zee

Use slotted rotors if you have fade problems due to heat. Otherwise go with the cheap-o NAPA rotors. I am bringing a spare set to Pahrump this weekend.
HP+ will not likely handle heavy track duty.

NO drilled rotors. Slotted or solid side. HP+ pads are aggressive street pads, not track pads.
Hawk DTC-70, PFC-01, PFC-05, Wilwood H, Carboterh XP12 & XP10
are track / race pads.
