Default Which way to go for more (RELIABLE) power?

Weekend street car that sees 6-12 track days per year - I don't compete in any particular series so I have no particular rules with which to adhere. I just want lots more grunt...

I'm thinking a 402 but there are all bore 402's or longer stroke 402's and now I'm just reading about the LQ9 which is 378 or stroked it's 415.
Is the LQ9 readily available? Is there any history behind that motor yet? Should I even consider it? Does it require a long list of different parts to make it work in the C5Z?

I will stay N/A, with maybe a little nitrous to top of the package.

500RWHP sounds about right - all motor, so that's an entirely achieveable goal - nothing too crazy.

I'd love to hear from people who have one of these setups and use it hard on the track - reliablility issues, overheating, other considerations, etc??

Thanks much!
Phil

ECS has a H/C package that will make that goal of 500RWHP.
