I am a little skeptical about "dominating" GT2 with the new Porsche coming in 2007, 430 Ferrari and hopefully LGs C6Z effort.
It sure would make the GT2 class very, very interesting, especially run by a team like Oreca.

F430 GTCs currently dominate FIA GT.
Porsche will switch to 14 inch wide tires, the same as GT1 cars, for 2007, but they will weigh 1,225 kgs.
Risi's # 62 F430 GTC won at Portland.
Jaime Melo started from the pole at Portland, but he was hit from behind in the first turn. He had to come in to change the two rear tires and came out around one minute down to the GT2-leading car. GT2 cars took around 1 minute and 13 seconds to get around the track.
Mika Salo made a pass for the lead in the final 18 minutes.
