100 Corvettes plus two days plus 3.1 mile track =equals= Tons of Fun

your next opportunity to participate is January 27th & 28th 2007......4 run groups.......beginner....novice........Intermediate a n d Advanced ..............

Where it all begins.....a good flag starter........




.........Saw some familiar faces like John & Dawn Bianchi (car # 5) in the advanced group...........


.....and met many race track enthusiasts........and their cars





Top of bleachers has the best view............







........many father and son teams were represented ........



........in more ways than one ............




Voted Best Equipped Ride



Voted Fastest Butterfly on the Course- Judy Winner





A select few left the SEMA show early and displayed there ware for us to inspect or purchase......

Voted Best Protected Car with not just one but three custom layers of protection..........clear bra.........tape and regular vinyl bra....






Fastest time was CF member "Olitho" 2:31.5 on a 3.1 mile 18 turn course

...........in a heavily modified C5 ZO6.............with tons and tons of driver skill.......and Ice water in the veins...........lots of people were asking for rides including CF member GreenEyedBandit.......who was one of the Vegas Cruise II participants who came back on Sunday for more rollercoaster rides...........




..........a peek at Oli's camp.......





............It was asked if Oli Jr did any rotations.........I don't think you could get him not to.......... like father like son.... .....

turn 2 # 55 car ( Oli ) right behind C6 ZO6 SM car # 21.........not for long......wonder which instructor was driving.........



The GoodYear Blimp was watching over us all on Saturday night.....High up in the rafters


..........Mike and Janet Curran Camp...........



On Saturday parade laps were done by the Vegas II group of approx 20 CF Members who many of them had just renewed their vows and were doing something much safer driving around the race track












.......the joy of the moment was starting to become contagious..........
