Trailer ramps (to john s.)
Is there a place that custom builds trailer ramps.
I remember John S. posted a web site years ago.
Does anyone remember it ????
or have a custom ramp builder?

If you don't see what you want don't bother asking for custom unless you want to be raped! I want the tab on the end straight and it was 300 extra it was really out of bounds. Figured I would have some local do it way cheaper. Their product is nice!

yes, that is the place !!!
Maybe I can buy their ramps and customize it myself.
I need longer and lighter ramps, and they seem to be the ticket.
I would save 50 lbs off the rear of my trailer!
my ramps currently weigh 50 lbs each. and although they slid in and out easily, my lower back still feels it. These aluminum ramps would weigh 25lbs each.

Get yourself a set of 6 ft ramps and a set of 4 ft ramps. At one end of the 4 ft ramps weld an 8 inch high support and brace it so it stays in place. On the 5 ft ramps put a couple of brackets that will fit over the 4 ft ramps and you now have a 10 ft ramp that comes apart. A 10 ft ramp will work with any trailer that has a beaver tail. The ramps shouldn't be solid. They should be made from angle iron and U Channel so they are strong enough but are mostly air.
