Default Falcon hauls one home and Mrs. Falcon is not happy….

No, it wasn’t a pit babe, but, to my wife, something almost as dangerous. A racecar!

I finally pulled the trigger!

Yep, I bought a T1 car.

Here’s a picture:

I bought it from Racer 38. He’s raced it for a few years and now has a more powerful Vette, so he didn’t need this one.

I’m taking it to VIR next weekend for the HPDE with the Porsches. Hopefully, I’ll have the car and me sorted out for the first NASA race in Feb. I’ll probably just stay with NASA and race in their ABCXYZ or whatever they decide to name the new series.

Way to go, Jody. I'll be cheering for you.

Buy the wife a nice gift and explain to her you only live once. If you wait until you are my age, your competitive years will be over.

Best of success,

Newman is the exception and it's a pleasure to see him do his thing.

I fully intend to keep going to the bitter end, but it seems to get harder every year. Now that I'm retired you'll see more of me at HPDEs in the East.

Way to go Falcon! You will probably get more use out of this than a pit babe anyway!

Thanks John & Frank!
Like Frank says we only live once. There's not enough wax left on my candle to do all the things I've wanted to do, so I guess I'll start with this.

Hey Jody, maybe Mrs. Falcon could use an enclosed trailer now. If she didn't go for that, you you might need it to sleep in. Congrats on the car, I know it made Bob happy.

Congrats Jody! Nice looking car.

Just tell the missus that it is actually safer with the full cage, etc.

ALLRIGHT! Glad to see you take the next step. In a few short months you'll you'll be the fast new NASA rookie and the pit babes will swoon.

Congratulations Jody.....Now I know why you'll not be TT'ing this year, you'll be racing. Are you going to compete in T1 ???? If so you are the 3rd of the possible 4 new T1 drivers I know for the '07 season. If not at least you'll be alot safer in the new car with the cage and all. Way cool...........

Sombich, now I'm really sad that I won't be there. But one question: why buy a T1 car to run NASA? There really isn't an equivilant class.

CONGRATS JODY !!!

Now you need a "pusher diesel Motor Home" with an enclosed trailer to haul that puppy.

Tell Mrs. Falcon the Motor Home's for the Grand-kids and the trailer... to haul their four wheelers... that should be an easy sale !

Good luck with your new... "HOT WHEELS!!!

Congratulations, Jody.

You will soon wonder why you took so long to make the jump.

I am with Frank reagrding wiating too long; that's why I did in when I was 43. I still think I have lost a bit of the competitive edge by being "older."

Have fun and I look forward to chasing your tail pipes at a race track nearby...

I'm sure the old red jalopy will need a few tune up miles every now and then. Since you'll be busy with the yellow one, maybe ship the red one out west and I'll take care of it for ya

Congrats on the new purchase
