Default Anyone Running A GM Z06 Rear Rim On The Front Of Their C5?

Looking to see if there are people running a rear C5 GM Z06 18 x 10.5 rim on the front of their C5. Wanting to know the distance from the stock C5 caliper to the spokes of the rim.

No clearance issues with the stock caliper. Although you may need a small spacer, as the inner rim could rub the lower control arm at full lock, and low ride heights - this depends on ride height and caster settings.

I ran the 18x10.5 on all 4 corners for track events as a test. I like it. With the 295/35-18 F1s on it I had no problems with any components that came with the car. It's an 02 Z06 and lowered on the stock adjusters.

Now for some reason my DRM duct extensions get a slight rub on the passenger side at full lock. So they might take a beating for AX but on track I seldom go to full lock. Unless I've done something really wrong...

I ran 12"x18" C5 Z06 rims on the back of my C6 Z06 until Hoosier began making R6's in 19" sizes for the back.

I'm thinking of selling my 12"x!8"s if anyone is thinking about moving their 10.5" C5Z rears to the front. They were new in the spring and have only 7 track days on them.

I have a 2000 C5 convertible and run 2001 Z06 rears all the way around with 305 Hoosier and/or Toyo's. This set up works very well. I do not know the spoke to caliper distance but there is no clearance issues (and this is with no spacers).

I know there is a lot of distance between the caliper and rim spoke but just want to know how much. When I had my Precision Brakes 14" setup in the front it cleared with a Z06 rear wheel and not my 18" HRE's that were cut for big brakes. Since then I've gotton a Wilwood 14" kit that clears my HRE's. I have my Precision 14" 6 piston brake kit that was never used up for sale if anyone is interested.
