Default Reduction pulley install advice needed?

I just took delivery on a used reduction crankshaft pulley. There are no instructions with it regarding installation. Can anyone walk me through an install?

www.ls1howto.com is your friend.... the install instructions are very specific w/ the torques, procedures, and using a new bolt.

Make sure you socket is going to take the abuse. 5 foot cheater+socket failure= Hospital or a tool dealer

I had socket failure once (real similar result to a rusty bolt breaking off) and I sometimes even plan for such an event (check the possible vector for obstructions). 240 is not too bad to get though...

just slide a jack handle over a breaker bar, and give it a tug. 60lb x 4' bar, or 50lb x 5' bar. Pretty easy to approximate.

Make SURE you tighten with the old bolt, then install with new one and use LOCTITE
