From the Forbes artical
Net worth between 40 and 70 million???
Goggin is the president of Unlimited Speed, a real estate development company currently selling plots of land in Victory Lane, a 3,000-acre, first-of-its-kind development located outside Savannah, Ga., where the wealthiest gearheads will get one premier perk — a private 4.5-mile race course built solely for their use.
Goggin says most residents will have a net worth between $40 million and $70 million, and their homes here will most likely be their second, third or fourth. Most households will be headed by a high-end car collector who likes to test his or her car’s performance firsthand. “The people who build here — and drive here — will be former professional drivers, current drivers and amateurs to semi-professionals,” says Goggin. “These guys know how to race.”

I mean, if I had the money, I would. But, I've heard that they're still a long way off from having the required number of commitments to build. There's a community in Spain done with this concept, though, that worked.

Melting Slicks
That is what you'd call "inspiration to succeed" for me!
Does anybody else find the MPHs a bit funny... turn 1 follows the big straight but just how huge is the radius there if you're going to carry 175 MPH!?! Turn 2 looks much more realistic but then you're back to 150 MPH by turn 3? I guess everybody who has 40-70 million net worth also has 1500RWHP and a way to put the power to the ground!

Starting from $675K...
Not mandatory to be that rich
From the Forbes article:
There is also a $1800/month maintenance fee. That includes road course & golf course access fees, per their website above, thanks AU N EGL.
From the Forbes article:
Victory Lane developers say that 28 of the lots have been sold, in sizes ranging from three to 30 acres and at prices starting from $675,000.

Straightaway/landing strip is 5400'. I would think a z06 would be able to hit 175 in that space. Looks like a fun place to live and something for me to dream about.

Former Vendor
If I lived there I would never leave. Order in food, parts, tires and etc. Spend my days driving, golfing, fishing, looking at females riding horses and stuff like that.
Do you think they would care if I parked a RV or trailer on spot R1

I found the article interesting as the ones who I know who are worth that amount have no interest in driving their cars on a road course but on the street to be seen or on display as part of a collection. It seems that the less you make the more one is inclined to drive their sports car on a road course.
