So who here is working on their 2007 Track Days? I have 7 already scheduled and hoping to add more soon.

I'm hoping to do the Watkins Glen dates that you posted w/ SCDA...along with the rest of the crew that went last year.

I have a good number of people coming to that event this year. I already talked to Ian about it and we are waiting for the new applications to come out.

BTW - we stayed at the Seneca Lodge last time and it wasn't that bad. Restuarant food was good and there is a bar on site that was relatively inexpensive.

I tell you the 3.73 is a great choice for the track. You get pull in the all the gears, but at the same time you don't run out of gear like the 4.10s did.

Dont get me wrong the 4.10s were a blast, but in the end the amount of shifting that was required with them was just too much. I am sure my clutc, tranny and engine are much happier now.

BTW - I ran with my friends car on a closed road. We did a rolling start at 60 or so. I ran 3rd gear forever while he had to shift his 4.10s. He had the initial jump, but then my car started to catch up and when he shifted my car blew by his.

Well, just so somebody thinks we track out west too, try this:
http://www.racerguys.com/

It is still not complete but most of the groups are listed and have
links so each group can be looked at to get updates. I'm sending
in the Thunderhill street school dates which didn't make the first
listing. Also, good to see some of you eastern folks stop by if you
get out west for any reason.

is this the one with the exotics?? If so I promised myself I would not do that event again. The organizers need to black flag cars that are not obeying the rules and the exotics need to step back and realize they are not that fast.
