Right side window net installation??
I purchased a Simpson right side window net / head restraint. It appears to be universal ; however it doesn't seem to line up or fit correctly in my car. Maybe it's because my car isn't a universal. Would someone take a picture on how theirs fit to give me a idea. I assume the Quick disconnect goes to the bar on/under the dash and the long adjustable belt goes on the seat belt bolt??? After that I'm lost. I guess I'm retarded!! Thanks

Found a 1" postage size stamp picture of a mounted right side cage net I'll be able to figure it out from here. Sorry for taking up your [ however] time. Thanks

The front strap goes to your front dash bar, which many cars don't have. In Falcon's car, I connected it to the OEM bar at the base of the winshield. Had to cut into the fiberglass just a little, but it worked, and ran it out throught the AC vent in the middle.
The rear straps go around your Main cage upper bar, and the lower around the bar that you connect your harnesses to.
Jody, can you snap a picture of your car.........?

here's my old car. Sorry, you can only see part of it.
The Simpson net is NOT my favorite: I prefer the Ractech net shown above (made by the same company that makes the R3 restraint)

btw, there ARE metal clips attaching the net to the cage in the rear. I just looped the extra around it in knots, so that it wouldn't flop around.
It looks like it is just tied on, but it isn't.
Also, it is hard to see, but in the top picture, not that the net is attached as far to the driver side as possible. The top of the net is all the way to the edge of the main hoop (and the others as far as possible), as you want it to cradle the seat as much as possible.
I put the little bungy on to keep it out of his face, but everything is very tight, with no slack to speak of.
