Default Pedal help

I would like to change the gas pedal on my C6 for better heel toe.

Anyone have any ideas/recomendations?

Ive got long legs and currently the only way I can do it is my heel on the brake and my foot rotated all the way over and use my toes for the gas blip. Otherwise my knee hits the steering wheel.

If I could widen the gas pedal I think I could roll my foot over without too much dificulty.

Anyone?

I have the heel/toe pedal on the way for my C5. It has been reviewed on this forum before- try a search.

Or these guys: http://ultimatepedals.com/

I got the gas pedal with rubber inserts. It works and looks great.

Am I weird in that I heel-toe with a couple of toes on the brake, and the side of my foot hitting the gas? I don't run into these issues... but I am short...

I was one of the folks who tested the new version of the EE pedal. The details are in a thread in the C5 Z06 section. Bottom line. Jeff did an excellent job on this pedal. It works very well.

Here's the cheapest mod I've done. Just to make it clear, I did not do this because of money. I did it, because I could try all different widths and heights until I got it right.

Hee hee, I think you must be an old trap shooter. That pedal looks like most of their shotguns while their trying to get them fitted just right What ever works in the experimental stage.

I had heard it is sloppy? Moves around a bit?

Your problem probably is in your technique rather than your pedals. Keep practicing, using the ball of your foot on the brake and the right side on the gas.
My C6 seems to have a lighter flywheel than my C5. The revs rise and fall faster, so it is harder to match revs. The clutch pedal does seem closer to the dead pedal in the C6.
