Default C6 HPDE/Street Seats

I want to either replace my stock seats with race seats that will work with a 6 point harness or modify my stock seats by cutting slots in the seat backs .
Modified stock seats will eliminate air bag problems. Has anyone done either to their C6? What is the best for 3-4 HPDEs a year & lots of street miles?

You are stilll alive!! I thought you were going to modify your street seats with those grommits you sent us pics of. Do race seats work for a daily driver? My regards to Dawn. C5 XTC soon to be C6 XTASY

I am looking for ideas on the subject before my seats come out.
I got the Pfadt Race Eng. Chassis Bar in my garage. I have been on the road with no time to play. When is you new baby going to be delivered?

Pick her up two weeks from today. Just hope the nice weather holds out. Try her out at Atlanta in mid March.

I've installed a set of the Carravaggio's and they are very nice, they are also not cheap. But as Ferris Buehler say's "If you have the means I highly suggest picking one up." The car I installed them in has many mods and the one thing they always notice are the nice seats.

I am also looking for an adjustable seat for HPDE/Street. In my case, I need a wide (40" waist) seat that can be seriously LOWERED (I'm 6' 41/2" tall). My problem, as you can guess, is finding enough head room to wear a helmet! Will a Corbeau A4 Wide fit in the C6? Are there any other adjustable wide seats that can be installed in a C6? Thanks!

I've found a post on this forum (Autocrossing & Roadracing) that stated that the A4 Wide seat cannot be installed in a C5. However, I haven't found confirmation of that yet. I know there are larger drivers on this forum, hopefully some of them drive on the track!

Necro Bump. Will the wide version of the A4 fit in a C6? I have the LG1's installed right now but they sit too high and the harness slots seem to low for my height. I have wide shoulders so the regular A4 is a bit tight.

If you are looking for something that isn't fixed back:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...-c5z-pics.html

Given that the C6 I believe has more room and many have put C6 seats in a C5, the conversion shouldn't be that bad.
