Thank you for contacting us. We appreciate your interest in Toyo
Tires. Unfortunately there are no plans to expand the current size
offerings for the RA1. If you have any further questions or comments,
please contact Toyo Tires Consumer Relations at: (800) 442-8696.
Sincerely,
Consumer Relations

Maybe if enough folks started asking for sizes appropriate for a C6 we could get them to do something? The 275/35r18 is fine for the front, but I'd really like something wider than the 305/35r18 rear... maybe a 315/35r18 or 325/35r18 or 315/30r19 or 325/30r19? Heck, I'd consider 305/35r18+325/35r18 given the chance...

Except I have a bit of understeer on entry of tight corners but it is all oversteer on exit! I think it has alot to do with my driving style Thats autocrosses, On the road course it feels nearly perfect well, it used to before I changed up my alignment. I really like the way it feels with the 275F 305R setup.

We used to run Proxes in CMC class as the mandatory tire.
I thought at least they handle like a real slick and don't flat spot easily, even if they are a little slow.
I always smile when I think of the Nick Steel quote,' "Proxes suck, but they suck for a lreally long time"

Dear Glen McCready,
We are currently working on size expansion in all of our product
lines. We thank you for your input and we will consider the sizes you
listed for future development. It seems that you are looking to
purchase wheels and tires pretty soon. Another possible combination is
in the NT555RII size 285/38R18 in the front and 305/35R18 in the rear.
However this will not meet the stock front rear OD difference of 1.2"
for your vehicle. One more combination to obtain approximately a 1.1"
front rear OD difference would be the NT01 sizes 275/35ZR18 up front
with the 275/40ZR18 in the rear. I understand that you will lose some
width in the rear but this will work in terms of overall diameter. Hope
this helps in your search for new wheels and tires. We do thank you for
your interest in Nitto Tires.
Thank you,
Anthony Lee

Sort of. Would be nice to have something that I could drive to the track or autocross. Atleast until I admit that I need to go get a tire trailer.
So, the 285/30r18+315/35r18 V710 combo is out for me. Not only due to the smaller front tire, but also because I have issues getting them where I want to be.
I'm thinking RA-1s, 555RIIs, NT-01s, A032Rs, A048Rs, V700s or VictoRacers but none really come in that great a set of sizes for a C6, and nobody is admitting to working up 19in tires that're suitable, which really leaves the 275/35r18+305/35r18 RA-1s as the best alternative, I guess.
Yokohama Tires' response was the best so far, basically saying they don't make anything that'll fit -- which you'd think they'd realize was the cause of the email to start with...

Exerpt from BFGs response:
We currently only offer the BFGoodrich g-Force R1 tire in a 285/30ZR18 86W
and a 225/40ZR18 83W. There will be more sizes coming out in this tire, but
they will not be available until at least the middle of 2007.
We offer the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW in a 275/35ZR18, but we do not offer
a tire in a size 315/35ZR18.

315/30r18 = 25.4in diameter
Not sure what the C6 electronics would think about a smaller rear tire; didn't somebody post a while back complaining about ABS and AH weirdness?
Now if it was 315/35r18 that'd be something!
