Default Front hub removal

Has anyone removed their front hubs? I need to replace my wheel studs and need to know the process. Upon looking at the assembly, it looks like all I have to do is remove brake caliper, caliper bracket, speed sensor wire conector and then loosen the three tork bolts on the back.

Does this sound right or did I miss something?

If your ball joint tool will not fit on lower joint ,just drop the whole upper A arm from the frame to gain extra room.

Why remove the hub? I have been able to replace wheel studs on the front without removing the hub. Rear is a different story.

To replace rear studs, just drill a hole in backing plate near parking brake cable.

OK, Window Peddler. Could you explain how you removed your front wheel studs without removing the hubs?

No problem. Remove the caliper, caliper mount and rotor. Rotate the front hub so that the stud that needs removed is to the rear of the front spindle. There is a recess there that will allow the offending stud to clear it. Get out your best BFH, remove the stud, drive in the new one and reassemble. Can be done track side. Z11409- good thought-I need to take a look at that.
