Are the fasteners for the suspension reusable? I'm specifically wondering about the nuts for the upper and lower ball joints.

Also, how is one supposed to get the torque specs correct when the ball joint studs rotate freely?

yes, I just tighten them they should grab the tapered fit unless they are way worn out. If it is a castle nut use a new cotter pin. I forgot if it has them or not
