Default Whats the best way to tie down a C-6 on trailer ??

got much advice on the type of trailer and truck set-up from this place in the past
Thanks a million

Going to borrow a friends flatbed with recessed tie-downs. I think I have everything I need but don't really know the best way to tie the thing down.

Can you use the puck slots at all etc. Around the frame etc.

Thanks again
Bill

I would be afraid with any movement you will get wear on the straps and on the wheel surfaces. May also get strain on one spoke of the wheel.

went to the T-hooks and love it. Much easier to set up and allows the suspension to move freely up and down.

T-hooks is how I do it.

Those "puck holes" are the factory shipping tie down slots so they are designed to do the job.

when towing when you leave you load when at a restaurant or out of your sight recheck it. Some idiots have been know to tamper with loads on trucks and car trailers. I always take a walk and tap the straps and check the connections. My friend found his latch up on the trailer. I lock mine. I did find my straps loose at a rest stop and it was no accident. Both rears were loose. The car never would have got where I was like that.

T hook takes less room under a lowered car. I bought the combo hook and it bottomed out on my car leaving the hole area pushed up slightly. Now a aluminum jacking puck does fit after I bought them.
