Glass top question...
I looked briefly for any info on this, but I found nothing....
With the upcoming AutoX season before us, I have a new car and an important question that didn't apply to me before...
I used to use my solid roof in my C5. With my new C6, I passed on the 2nd roof, all I have is the glass tops...
How do I protect the inside of the clear panel from my helmet rubbing on it and scratching it? I know there are tons of them out there, just looking for some insight and/or advice...
Thanks.

Isn't there some sort of linener for the inside / undside of the glass top to protect from heat and the sun??
Or tape a form fitting piece of cardboard up into the glass bottom ??
Just a few thoughts

For a C4, I use the static-cling style of window shade film sold for protecting
children from the sun while in the back seat. This is a heavy-gauge
vinyl material screened with transparent 'pixels' and it is available in
several sizes. Seems to be available wherever floor mats, air fresheners
and other interior debris is sold.
Clean the underside of the transparent top, remove the backing
from the film and apply.
The film stays in place for the most part in my climate. I am unsure
how well it would be able to remain in place in persistent high
sun/temperature situations.

tape a small piece of shelving paper (the stuff that lines your tool box) to your helmet. cut a small piece to sit on too. It will keep you from sliding around if you have a stock seat.
