Tim, around here we have a C5Z that runs 18x10.5" rears all the way around with no problems. Tires were 305 Hoosier 04's.

Have you looked at AFS wheels? They make replica ZR-1/GS wheels. There's two auctions on ebay right now each for a pair of 17x11 polished in GS offsets. Buy it now $325 per pair.

for the street I am running 295/18 fronts and 315/18 rears with no problems.
On the track though I run 17 inch. the tires are a bit cheaper and there seems to be a lot of choices to choose from...

Anyone running 18's on a (non Z06) C6? One problem with the C6 is that the rear tire OD must be larger than the front (I don't know by how much), because the computer requires it. Does LS2-Edit allow re-programming that "feature" of the computer?

I run 18" wheels all the way around my C6. You just have to pay attention the diameter of the tire and keep the front to rear tire diameter difference percentage the same. I ahve 275/35/18 on front and 305/35/18 on back and have not had a single issue with them.

I have the Z06 rears on all 4 corners on a C5 coupe w no issue. Using Hoosier 305/30's for autox and will be using toyo 305/35's for road course. The only rubbing issue experienced was a full lock and one wheel had an interior mounted wheel weight which no longer exists.

Apparently the C6 computer is more of a "nanny" than the C5's. I can only hope that there is a solution to this problem on the C6. It would be nice to have the flexibility that the C5 drivers have!

I also have run 18's all around on my C5 Z06 using Hoosier slicks on road courses and did not notice any rubbing. My car was also lowered (I'm the second owner) and I did not notice any rubbing or any other wear otehr then then what looks like typical wear from stuff being thrown onto the painted areas around the wheel wells.
What I am curious about (and I know you didn't ask this toolman44092--SORRY) is how you all like the 18's all around? Were there any performance advantages? Improved times?
Personally what I noticed, and I apologize for maybe not being techinical enough in my descriptions, is that when using the 18's in the front the car felt more planted on the track and seemed to stay on course a little better. But I felt I did maybe have to be a little more careful with any attempted steering corrections. However what I did miss the ability to understeer the car a bit coming out of certain turns. Yeah I have this little rallyx streak--I like to be able to flick out the back end out as needed. And you know with slicks your tires don't "talk" as much to you either until they seem to be right at their limit. Maybe it's just a comfort thing after all, having the 17's in front?
I would really like to know what experiences you all have had!

Yeah, I use 18x10.5 Z06 wheels all the way around on my C5 for autocross days. Fronts stick out a tad with the 305s on them but they haven't rubbed on anything yet. Car is lowered 1" on stock bolts.
