TOYO T1Rs for HPDE!
1. Who is using the TOYO T1Rs for HPDE days?
2. If not TOYOs, what do you recommend that's reasonably inexpensive
These tires are going to be a second set for wet and cold days when I can't or shouldn't use my F1 GS-CSs.
Thanks

I've been running them on my Z with stock suspension for the past two events. Nothing but good things to say about them, great grip for the price and tire type. They do talk to you quite a bit when you push them. Turn in, and all around cornering is good. Tire wear is awesome too. I was running about 4-5 seconds slower than the advanced run group C6s on Hoosiers last weekend on the T1Rs.

Toyo T1R for HPDE
I have been running Toyo T1R's since I purchased my 01 Z06 @ a year ago. IMO there is not a better street tire out there for the track. They wear like iron, they do not give up after prolonged sessions in the advanced solo groups at VIR, Summit Point, Watkins Glen, Pocono. I am ready for "track tires" and use the T1R's for when the weather is not so great. I personally love the tire and would be hard pressed to look at another option when it comes time to replace them. I am hanging with and passing like or superior cars with slicks.

I've got a brand new set on new wheels just waiting for Road Atlanta in 4 weeks.
Great to hear the reviews above.

I was told by some other drivers to get the Toyo RA1 for my car, so I didn't look at the R1's. Are you'll saying that the R1 is a great tire as well?
Thanks.
Thanks.
