how do hoosier "R"'s do on autocross?
i am buying a used z06 that has hoosier R's (not the A's).
Car will be mostly used for autocross. Will the R's be useless?
maybe if i have a co-driver, they'll heat up better?
I was thinking of just selling them and getting A's, or if i can find a size that works, v710's since they are cheaper.

I'd suggest leaving the R's on while you learn the car and burn them up. No need wasting your money on A's until after you have the new car set up and are comfortable autox'ing it. They won't heat up very well in the NJ spring but they're better than street tires.
Where are you going to run?

I haven't run with you guys in 2 years. If I recall you run on Sundays and those are my days with the family. Of course those Friday afternoons have some potential this year. See you out there!
