I've subscribed to GRM for a few years now. Recently decided to swap over to CM. So, I'm browsing through my last GRM issue (Vol 24, # 2, April 2007) and get to page 40.

Holy crap. After all these years, they put some hotties in the magazine (Suzy Slater & Sherri Queenan). I mean, even the ricers know that chicks and cars go together , why go against the natural order of the universe on this? Need to get the Corvette crowd to understand.

Now, meanwhile, if jpasterjak was a real Corvette buddy, he would have posted a jpg here for us to check out , but noooooooo , where is he?

For this offense, we should vote on banning him.

I was worried that too many folks would be offended by the Ford-powered Mitsubishi to see past the candy.

My favortie part of that weekend:

I do all the announcing for the event, and during the drag race portion, Gabe Barrett and I were in the timing tower calling all the action. When there was a break in the action, they set up those burnout shots (and several that didn't make it into print) and Gabe and I got to fight over the binoculars. At one point this exchange took place:

Me: "Why have those girls been walkin garound all dayin those outfits?"

Gabe: "Why does it matter?"
