Hope the ACO lets them build a decent bullet for the gunfight with the Porsche's and Ferrari's. The platform should be capable of speed, if the engine is not too restricted. Hopefully they can get the reliability and fuel economy needed to do well out of a relatively stock platform.

Whitin the regulation and with the restrictors we aim for an power output of aprox 470-480 BHP or aprox 10 BHP less than the Porche and Ferrari.
But quite important are the wide range of torque, we will be able to ajust carefully for each circut and where we should have an advantage over the other teams. Correct - Fuel will be a quite important issue and an important task for the drivers. Tom Kristensen have previous shown us all how much fuel you can spare with clever driving !

Did you make the minimum weight? So you are only down the 10hp? Having a wider torque band do you also have more torque? With this years LMS track selection does an advantage in torque give you a large advantage or are they more highspeed like LeMans?

Weight and torque !
To answer some your questions, I can inform that we ofcourse will make the minimum weight. The torque questions can I answer like this:
From nature the 7 litre V 8, has a much higher torque than the high rev's ferrari's and Porsche´s. The aim is to maintain an advantage of minimum 100 Nm. This advantage are usefull, when the pilots are racing at for ex. Silverstone, but also important in the fuel economic, since the torque can be used to go at lower rev's at some parts of the tracks and still maintain speed.
