Default What bolts do I need to buy to lower the front/rear of my C5?

I've already cut the bushings and such. What is next? Do I need to buy a special set of bolts or can I just go to the local hardware shop and get what i need?

When racing with Danny Popp I noticed that his car is about an inch lower. So is the ATI car. So there must be something to that.

take the adjusters completely out. Insert a thin sheet of plastic (like a vanity plate from WalMart) as bushing. If that isn't low enough, you need springs from Vette-brakes. Their springs aren't arched, so they give lots of lowering potential.

Rears, you just need longer bolts. You can go OEM style metric, or replace with grade 8 standard hardware

Long while ago I slammed my car and drove it around the streets and it sucked. Even now with the VBP springs it is not slammed. I have problems with tire clearance. I I go off track with the splitter and it is super low good bye splitter

Thanks for the help. FYI: I do have VBP springs on the car and the car is waiting to be dropped before I have it corner weighted balanced and re-aligned. My shocks are konis and they have been set for 1/2 lower than how the car is set up.
Does anyone have the dimensions of the longer bolts I need to buy? I know they have to be grade 8 and such but I don't know diameter, thread or length.

Thanks for the help.
