Default Need some crew help at the Roebling Road National - 2 March

I'm planning on being at the Friday, 2 March, test day at Roebling Road (Savannah) and need a hand. I should have my new Motons on there and need some basic help taking tire temps, pressures, lap times, etc. If you're available for the whole weekend, that would be awesome, but Friday will be key.

I'll of course cover your food (and lodging if you're staying the whole weekend) and will teach you everything you need to know. For the guys "on the fence" about whether or not they want to come racing, this is a great chance to see for yourself the workings of SCCA National level racing. It's also a good chance to see how small changes in car set-up can affect handling and lap times.

You don't have to be an SCCA member, but it's preferable. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks!!! wtknght1@aol.com

I'm still looking for some help, especially on Friday, 2 March. Anyone...Beuller...anyone...

I'll be arriving Thursday night in Savannah. This test day is really important to me because I've got some brand new adjustable Moton shocks on there and need to figure them out.

I'm covering your meals and hotel costs.

good luck Chris...don't be surprised if you are slower until you get the shocks working!

Hey, it's easy to get help these days if you've got the money to spend! Just ask the PCA guys what it takes

You're letting BK help? Just make sure he stays out of the margarita pitcher until after dinner. Tell him I said hey.

I've heard that, but to be honest, if I am after spending this kind of scratch, I will have serious case of the ***! It looks like my starting settings are fairly close to what Knupp was using so they better work really, really well right out of the trailer!

Another thing that I've been thinking about is the fact that I could theoretically have different (stiffer) settings for qualifying and then soften them a bit for the actual race. That way I could take advantage of those ultra sticky sticker tires. I'll just have to play with it and see.

Well, he just kept hanging around the trailer begging for food, so I finally felt sorry for him and fed him...now he won't leave!
