Default Pics of Hardbar ZO6

I have over a month to go befrore the first event, but it is almost ready! That is assuming no more snow (the white stuff on the ground for all of you in the south), because Hoosiers really suck in the snow.

You bet, Thanks everyone! This is my second set of Corsairs, and about the 6th set of John's wheels I have had. They have lots of caliper clearance, and are superb. The new rear Wilwoods saved 2.2 pounds (6.0 with adapters vrs. 8.2 for the PBR's (empty calipers)) of unsprung weight each rear corner. The fronts saved 12 pounds each with our rotors. I am pretty happy with the re-valved, and rebuilt Penske 8100's I bought used off of this forum as well. I think with our rails and 2 Kirkey seats, and aluminum hat rear rotors (soon!) I could get pretty close to a sub 3000 pound empty weight. This car is alot of fun and very quick!

Can't quite tell from the pic's, do you run a clear protection layer (3m or other) to save the paint on the track?

Nope, I should, but Loudon (NHIS) is pretty clean.

Looks great, but don't post these photos on the waxer boards. They'll have fits because the car isn't clean. They'll all be saying, "how could he treat a Z06 like that, especially a black one!".

I don't even know where the waxer boards are! I am more interested in how it runs, turns and stops....
I just thought of something while watching the Nextel Cup race. The Cup cars now are running unleaded so that means I can get gas at NHIS, probably at $6-7 a gallon, but it will be 100+ octane.
Thanks for the kudos!
