Default Front Sway Bar tech, C4.

Guldstrand sells a one inch spacer that goes in the between the bushings and frame on the two center bushings. Anyone know what this does? Is it a valid thing, as Guldstrand doesnt sell crap, they are a reputeable company and know the C4 pretty darn well.

Thats his mounting brackets in lieu of the stock brackets. It probably has less flex than the stock bracket, but its only a concern for a hard core track car.

Nope, but I read about somewhere on the forum, so I emailed Guldstrand and they responded that they do sell it and it is needed if you go with coil overs or adjustable links, I forget but I will check my email when I get home.

When I installed my DRM coilovers on my 90 I had to relocate the sway bar mounts. I guess this in an easier way of taking care of this problem too.

From Guldstrand "Yes I have the 1" spacer ($76.95), the benefit is the flexibility of being able to use whatever sway bar one wants and these are totaly necessary for coil-over set ups."

So I guess the spacer moves the bar forward. Does this eliminate redrilling of the frame. If so, its better than redrilling as most do to move the bar forward for clearance. Its not necessary in all cases. I didnt move my bar forward. Close clearances, but required with my bushings.
