Do you mean a true racing slick or do you mean an R compound DOT Legal race tire? There is a difference.

The Kumho V710 in 315/35/18 will fit nicely on Z06 rear rims. That's what I ran all last year. There's a bit of different in each manufacturer's sizes, but it's roughly equivolent to Hoosier's 305.
From what I hear the 315 710's will fit the front too will little if any rubbing.
